BJJ Conquest, the affliate school of MD BJJ, hosted BJJ world champion Marcelo Garcia for a two-day seminar. Students and instructors from both schools attended Marcelo's classes.

May 9, 2009 Nate Grebb wins MMA fight
Coming off of a disappointing loss, Grebb re-entered the cage this Saturday in Fredericksburg, Virginia at the Battlefield Fighting Championship with a fighter's spirit and hunger to win. Grebb was declared winner by unanimous decision after three rounds of complete control over his opponent.

2009 Pan Ams Carson, California - MDBJJ is taking many fighters to Pan Ams this year.
PAN AM UPDATED Results:
MD BJJ is proud to announce instructor Duke Koblinski's third place finish in his brown belt division. Additionally, instructor Kail Bosque was awarded his purple belt while in California competing at the Pan Ams.
Kail, Lance, Brian and Tasha all proudly represented MD BJJ in California and fought hard in their divisions.

The MD BJJ 2009 Pan-Am Championship Fight team visited the Tinguinha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Anaheim, California. Tinguinha BJJ was a wonderful, welcoming academy. All of the fighters appreciated a chance to train and roll before competing in the Pan Am tournament.
